Indie Spotlight

Indie Spotlight is an affordable way for independent puzzle and word game creators to get their game featured in one of my videos. I play your game on camera and share my honest, unscripted reactions.

$50 per feature, plus a $10 application fee that counts toward your first feature. Pricing details

What fits

When sponsorship fits better

Indie Spotlight is meant for genuinely indie games without a traditional marketing budget. If your game has a larger marketing budget, or you would not naturally think of it as an indie game, conventional sponsorship is the better fit.

Conventional sponsorship is also a better fit if you need specific messaging, links, editorial review or approval, want to negotiate something outside the standard format, or are looking for multiple features in quick succession.

How it works

  1. Submit your game and pay the application fee.
  2. I review it. Approval isn’t guaranteed, but once I approve your game, it stays approved.
  3. Buy a feature whenever you’re ready, and your game joins the queue.
  4. When your turn comes, I record the feature and publish it, usually on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Pricing

Application fee
$10
To submit a new game or resubmit a game that was previously rejected. That covers the time I spend looking over your submission, so the fee is nonrefundable. If there are minor issues with your submission, I’ll work with you to resolve them without requiring another fee.
First feature
$40
Because your application fee counts toward it.
Each feature after that
$50

The queue

Each game can be in the queue once at a time, and I feature games roughly in the order they were paid for. If you need a specific date, consider a conventional sponsorship instead.

Honest coverage

I play unscripted and share my genuine reactions as I go, including constructive feedback when it comes up naturally. My style is relaxed and positive, though, and I tend to focus on what I’m enjoying.

Refunds

If your situation changes significantly, or you’ve been in the queue long enough that a feature no longer makes sense for you, send me a message about your game from your dashboard and I’ll consider a refund. Application fees are never refundable.
